Thanks to their multilayer structure, they achieve high filtration performance without significant pressure loss. The specific 20” Big Blue filter (DGD-2501) operates in three successive stages:
1st stage: Removal of larger particles up to 25 microns
2nd stage: Additional filtration for particles up to 5 microns
3rd stage: Final retention of fine suspended elements, such as algae and sediments, with filtration up to 1 micron
